              Shree Siddheshwar Devasthan’s, Shree Siddheshwar College of Physiotherapy is the first Physiotherapy College in Solapur district which is recognized by Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health sciences, Nashik. The asset of the institute includes a team of full-time dedicated highly qualified and experienced faculty, central library, an upgraded digital library, a state of art departmental labs. Our college attached with Ashwini Rural Medical College, Khumbari, Solapur for conducting theory and practical classes of medical subjects. Our college is also attached with Shree Siddheshwar Cancer Hospital, Ashwini Hospital, Chidgupkar Hospital and Sparsh Hospital, solapur for clinical postings. We have our own Shree Siddheshwar Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation center, an outpatient department unit at Shree Siddheshwar College of Physiotherapy and Shree Siddheshwar Cancer Hospital, Solapur. The practice of medicine cannot be limited to just “curing” the disease but demands the holistic restoration of the patient to their maximum functional potential. This requires the input of various personnel who constitute a healthcare team. A physiotherapist play an important role in hastening recovery, reducing the hospital stay and returning the patients to their full functional status. The applications of technology in medicine are increasing and contributing to more effective therapy protocols.
